The person that you want to be is the person that you really are

Dash For Freedom

The flight of the Langoustine came about because the sculptor came across a broken lobster pot on Brighton beach , this got him thinking about the lobsters that had broken free and released themselves back in to the ocean .

This got me thinking about this quote by Steve Peters from the Chimp Paradox book

“The person that you want to be is the person that you really are”

We all want the freedom to be who we came here to be , we are all made so beautifully different and unique and we know that the drive for perfection is a fallacy. We are made perfectly imperfect , in reality perfection doesn’t really exist as there is an insatiable and exponential appetite for more so how can find out who we really are?

Once we understand what has happened to us, to shape us in to shape us into who we don’t want to be, we can work on who we really are, without the parts that diminish us.
